New Delhi | March 3-5, 2025: The GSSS Technology Business Incubator Foundation (GSSSTBIF), Mysuru, proudly participated in Startup Mahakumbh 2025, India’s largest congregation of startups, innovators, investors, and ecosystem enablers, hosted at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.

Dr. Hrishikesh Tavanandi, CEO of DST-iTBI-GSSSTBIF and Mr. G Vivek Bharadwaj G, Incubation Manager of DST-iTBI-GSSSTBIF represented GSSSTBIF in the 3 days event. Our visit marked a key milestone in shaping the foundation of our incubation strategies. As one of the incubators under DST-iTBI, the event offered a unique platform to engage with policymakers, experienced incubator leaders, and the scientific community.

One of the highlights of the event was the opportunity to connect with scientists from the Department of Science and Technology (DST) and CEOs of several DST-supported iTBIs (DST-NIDHI-iTBI) across the country. These interactions provided rich insights into successful incubation models, operational challenges, and innovative support systems.

We also attended curated sessions and panel discussions that emphasized sectoral growth opportunities and support structures for deep-tech and early-stage ventures. Most meaningfully, we had the chance to interact with startups working in Food Processing, Agri-Tech, and Healthcare – the core focus domains of GSSSTBIF. These discussions helped us identify potential collaborators and better understand sector-specific innovations and gaps.

The experience reaffirmed our mission to create a robust, inclusive, and impact-driven incubation model that supports high-potential startups in Tier 2 cities and beyond.

We return to Mysuru with fresh ideas, meaningful connections, and renewed purpose.
