Incubation Manager Technology Business Incubator
Scope of Duty for Incubation Manager
Experience as trainer / motivator in entrepreneurship development, Skill development and Faculty Development.
Guiding the institution to create congenial environment at the incubator for startup incubation.(day to day activity at the center).
Work with startups at the Centre according to the frameworks and mechanisms as outlined by the Incubator leadership team.
Monitor business performance of portfolio start-ups, interface with other stakeholders and provide industry connects.
Regularly interact and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure program performance.
Look for newer avenues of partnerships and bring the same to the leadership team for further action.
Work towards overall startup community mobilization and outreach.
Manage and support internal and external communication as needed for the program. This will also include maintaining communication with the media as and when required.
Ensure smooth day-to-day overall functioning of the incubator, by coordinating with Admin, Marketing, Design, HR and other relevant team members.
Actively participate in events, seminars and workshops for building and sharing knowledge. Ensuring coordination with relevant team members within the organization
Revenue Generation and Grants for the development of incubation center.
Devising new courses for entrepreneurship and startup promotion among students
Job Role for Tech Support Associate, DST-iTBI-GSSSTBIF, Mysuru
Assist startups with product development, prototyping, and resolving technical challenges. Guide startups on utilizing incubator tools, labs, and resources effectively. Infrastructure & Equipment Management
Maintain and ensure optimal functionality of technical facilities and equipment. Oversee safety protocols and provide training on lab usage and best practices. Workshops & Training Programs
Organize technical workshops, hackathons, and training sessions for startups and stakeholders. Networking & Collaborations
Build partnerships with academic institutions, industry leaders, and technology providers for advanced support. Facilitate collaborations to expand startup access to cutting-edge technologies. Monitoring & Reporting
Track technical progress and milestones of incubated startups. Prepare detailed technical reports, project documentation, and equipment usage records. Research & Market Trends
Stay updated with emerging technologies and market trends relevant to the incubator’s focus areas. Advise startups on integrating modern innovations like AI, IoT, and renewable energy. Support for Funding Proposals
Assist startups in preparing technical content for grant applications and funding pitches.
Job Role for Office Assistant, DST-iTBI-GSSSTBIF, Mysuru
Clerical and administrative tasks.
- Education: High school/diploma or higher.
- Work Environment: Desk-oriented, computer-based.

- Typical Tasks : Correspondence. Deliveries, cleaning, errands.

SCOPE OF DUTY FOR Accountant
- Managing accounts (Book keeping, Accounting, Taxation etc.)
- Summarizing, analyzing and reporting of financial information.
- Performing periodic internal audit and coordination for external audit
- Manage, monitor and review payables / receivables.
- Assisting incubated startups for their accounting need.
- Procurement, Purchase & Office administration supports.
- Assisting investment team for financial modeling, analysis, Cash flow, Due diligence, Valuation, Equity and Cap table management (desirable).
Qualification:
- Bachelor in Commerce minimum 5 years experience (for Bachelor)
- Proficiency in Tally & MS-Office
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Exposure to Financial modeling, Cash Flow, Venture financing, Valuation, Equity and Cap table Management (desirable).
Experience:
- 2 years experience

SCOPE OF DUTY for Incubation Associate
- Assist in startup requirement gathering, understand the requirements, pain points, and solution needs of incubated startups and associated partners with assigned programs/projects and activities.
- Work with startups to help them in conceptualizing and designing their product decks, pitching presentations, product demos, organizing workshops etc. Closely coordinate with relevant team members for the same
- Connect startups with relevant mentors, partners, and investors. Additionally, scout for other possible mentors, partners, and investors if any. Work closely with the Incubation manager to periodically organize relevant startup events.
- Ensure fulfillment of all compliance-related requirements for incubated startups.
- Write reports, on the project being worked on. Provide up to date summaries of projects they are working on for website and other promotional activity.
- Assist the Manager in study design and survey and maintaining of instruments.
- Interact and maintain relationships with portfolio companies, mentors, and partners.
- Active participation and conduction of events, seminars, and workshops for building and sharing sectoral knowledge. Ensure coordination with relevant team members within the organization for event participation
Qualification:
- Graduate in Technology from a recognized national or international institution.
Experience:
- ∙ 3 years of experience managing Incubation Eco System successfully
