Department of Science and Technology(DST) -inclusive TBI (DST-iTBI) , under the NIDHI –iTBI scheme shall be housed under the GSSSTBIF accommodating an area of 9000 square feet dedicated for this purpose with a vision to promote 30 start ups at full capacity. The DST-iTBI will house a state of the art facilities at the Maker’s Lab with centralized facility to cater the needs of the incubates to work in the area of Food, Agro and Health Care. A dedicated governing team comprising of experts from industries in the recommended thrust areas, experts from leading incubation centre’s, financial experts and investors are framed to mentor and lead the iTBI with qualitative support with the able guidance from Management and principal of the HOST Institute.

In order to create awareness about the proposed Incubation center, every year many outreach programs are being planned to several stakeholders viz., farmers / Community Resource Persons / MSMEs / Women SHG Members / Farmer Clubs / NGO Personnel/ College Faculties to facilitate technology transfer / commercialization of products of the incubate start ups to identify the viable start up ideas / start ups that could be incubated in the incubation centre in the area of Food Processing, Agro Processing and Health Care (Recommended Focus/Thrust areas by DST). Support will be provided to the incubate start ups in terms of IPR, technology development, prototype development, business management etc
