GSSSTBIF, in collaboration with the Aurora Entrepreneurship Development Club, successfully hosted the Business Bowl – Igniting Young Business Minds on 13^th May 2025. The event was inaugurated by Dr. S Padmashree (Professor, E&C, GSSSIETW), Dr. Hrishikesh A (CEO, DST-iTBI-GSSSTBIF) and Dr. Sushma SJ (Associate Professor, E&C, GSSSIETW).  This high-energy, multi-stage competition was designed to foster entrepreneurial thinking, strategic decision-making, and business awareness among students.

A total of 25 teams, comprising students from diverse academic backgrounds, participated in the event. The competition featured four engaging rounds:

• Prelims (MCQ Test) – Assessed general business knowledge.
• Entrepreneurial Knowledge – Focused on startup fundamentals and business strategy.
• Guess the Entrepreneur – A fast-paced round based on identifying influential business personalities.
• Puzzle Solving – Tested logic, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

The grand finale, titled “Think Tank Challenge: Start Small, Dream Big,” tasked the top 5 teams with solving real-world problems using practical, innovative business ideas. Scenarios ranged from sustainable waste management to rural electrification, local economy upliftment, digital healthcare access, and eco-friendly campus initiatives.

The event was judged by Dr. Hrishikesh A, CEO – GSSSTBIF, and Mr. Vivek Bharadwaj, Manager – GSSSTBIF.

This initiative reflects GSSSTBIF’s commitment to cultivating entrepreneurial talent at the grassroots level and promoting real-world problem-solving through campus-driven innovation. The event also strengthens the entrepreneurial ecosystem being developed at GSSSIETW, Mysuru.
